Have you ever noticed how great you feel when you tell the truth and clear the air, so to speak? There is accuracy in the statement, "The truth shall set you free"! Being open and honest frees up an enormous amount of energy and gives you the confidence and space to move forward.

Did you know that not telling the truth, even if you're doing it to protect the person you're not being honest with is manipulation?

It is... You're trying to protect something or someone and you're seeking a desired outcome; so you manipulate the situation by not telling the truth, to get what you want.

It's best to say what's on your mind. Let the other person determine whether they can handle the information you're delivering. People are stronger than we give them credit for.

There's just one caveat... Make sure when you're telling the truth, it's your business to do so....
