Have you ever stopped to fully immerse yourself in the life you've created - even if it was just for a moment?
I went to the beach this morning and I took a walk to clear my head. Halfway back down the seashore, I stopped to take it all in. The water looked so peaceful and serene. The air was fresh and the sun was beginning to shine. I just stood there for a few moments, and I started giggling as I realized that it was 8:30 Monday morning and I was walking on the beach... I was not in a business meeting or sitting in an office wishing I was somewhere else (as I frequently hear from friends); I was on the beach. This was not the first time I'd been on the beach at 8:30 on a Monday morning; but there was something about being in that very place at that very moment that was so exilarating!
For so many years I have held this vision for what I wanted my life to be; and today, as I stood there humble and grateful, I realized that I am living my life's purpose and I am exactly where I should be. That moment was so quiet and so rewarding... As I looked out at the water, I began thinking about all of the people that I wanted to feel what I was feeling.
I eventually continued to walk, and as I approached my car, I noticed words on a plaque set into a park bench that said "People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges".
As I thought about all of the wonderful bridges that will be built with Lifestyle Makeovers, I acknowledged that this was indeed the perfect ending to a walk for which I am so grateful.
I encourage you to take a moment to stop and look at the life you've created for yourself. Is it the life you truly want? Does it give you the warm fuzzies? George Eliot said, "It's never too late to be what you might have been".
We're all a work in progress. My hope is that you have that awareness. You can create a life that gives you joy. It all starts with a thought...
All my best to you....
Jeneice
